Architects @ Islington Academy

I had the pleasure of shooting an amazing band named Architects on last friday night at the Islington Academy...and mind you I was surprised by them. I'd heard of them from a friend back home who absolutely loved them, but I'd never got around to listening to any of their albums...and after friday, I've gotta go out and grab myself a copy of their album, Hollow Crown. Anyway, here are a couple of sneak peek photos from that shoot:

Rediscovering old images...

I logged into my old photobucket account today...and saw all these images that I took back home in Australia...so now here they are again in their full glory :)

Busy busy busy...

Yes I know I promised that I would post some images and what not...but not having easy access to the internet is not a good thing. I will get some pics going soon.

Shooting Architects and Misery Signals in a few weeks and also going to see Kris Roe (lead singer of the Ataris) next week. Also going ice skating at Somerset House too. Enjoying some of the weather (when its not freezing and windy)...especially the one day of snow that we had about a week ago :)

Anyway, I'll post up the images I took at My American Heart, Taste of Chaos and my travels soon.

Sneak Peek....

A sneak peek at a couple of photos from my first live music shoot at the Astoria in London. It was for Taste of Chaos 2008...and it was quite different from what I'm used to. Taste of Chaos in Sydney is always held in arenas, so having it held in a small venue is quite unusual.

Anyway, here's a couple of the pics: Alex Varkartzas from Atreyu and The Skull from Story of the year.

It's all so quiet...

Yes, I have been a little quiet of late...mainly due to having relocated...yes indeed - I am now in the UK (London to be exact). Had a bit of a holiday as well - finally made my first trip to Japan and New York City. They are both the most amazing places in the world, and if you ever ever get the chance, definately go to both those places.

I will get my act together and post some images from my travels (they will be dodgy snapshot digital camera shots, but at least you'll get the picture), and get some design work up as well...

Hardcore 2008 (18+) @ Manning bar

Had the awesome awesome pleasure of shooting Parkway Drive again at the Manning Bar for the 18+ show. Although, it was a bit of a rush...I'd found out about the pass at 6pm and doors opened at 6pm. I had to do the bolt to the Manning Bar. But it was well worth it as Parkway Drive never ever fail to impress me live. Their live show is one of the best in the country, and Winston is a crazy frontman.
